Close to the work

Zach Shallbetter is an artist, designer, and creative technologist based in Spokane, Washington. He founded Snack Studio and created Creative MCP. It brings his Adobe MCP and Blender MCP projects together. The tools connect AI agents with creative software.
Meet Zach
Creative MCP connects AI agents to the software used by artists and designers. Each implementation gives an MCP client a local path into a creative tool. Instructions and context can meet real documents, artwork, scenes, and timelines.
The aim is practical: make creative software easier to reach through conversation and code. The application and its files stay in the workflow. So does the creator’s judgment.

InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Blender each have different creative surfaces and implementation needs.
The Adobe Capability Atlas separates documented features, automation routes, implementation coverage, checks, and live-app validation.

Zach’s practice began with drawing, illustration, comics, and murals. It grew into interface design, interactive media, and creative production software.
For more than twenty years, he has worked between visual storytelling and technical implementation. Recent projects include computer-vision tools for video production. They support rotoscoping, object callouts, and masking. His InDesign MCP server exposes 137 tools.
Creative MCP extends that work across Adobe applications and Blender. It connects code and conversation to the tools artists and designers use.
